DJK to Make Public Appearance

Iowa’s all-time leading receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos has been seen around lately and in March lent his support to his ex-teammates at Pro Day. On April 22, DJK will make an appearance at the Des Moines Sheraton from 12-4 p.m.

Sounds like he’s still working on his image as he awaits the NFL Draft. 

If you’ve ever read his tweets on Twitter, he doesn’t seem like a bad guy.

Iowa’s Baseball Team Defeats Illinois

On Saturday evening, the Iowa baseball team defeated the Illini, 7-4 at Illinois Field in Champaign. The game was televised on the Big Ten Network. Iowa’s Matt Dermody got his third win of the season and had a career-high eight strikeouts.

Iowa plays Illinos at 1:05 p.m. today in the final game of the series.
