On Friday night, the Duke men’s soccer team fell to Syracuse, 2-1. It was the Orange’s first ever ACC victory (it is their first year in the conference). The Blue Devils dropped to 3-2-2 overall and 0-2-1 in the ACC.
Brody Huitema gave the Blue Devils the 1-0, but Duke could not put the second goal in the net. The score came just 15 seconds into the second half. It was his third goal in two games.
Syracuse scored two goals 14 minutes apart in the second half (which was 15 minutes after Duke took the lead).
Duke will play a non-conference game at home on Tuesday night at 7pm ET against Wright State.
