Way back in August, the oddsmakers in Las Vegas didn’t expect too much from the 2011 Denver Broncos.
In fact, the general consensus was Denver would finish dead last in the AFC West with a record of 5-11. The DHF Prediction Index (i.e. me) went one better, projecting a 6-10 record.
By the way, for those who haven’t heard, the Broncos have already won six games this season…and counting.

If the Broncos make it there, I'm headed home. Feel feel to join, but you're on your own for lodging. (personal photo)
What a difference Tim Tebow makes.
Staying in the odds theme and going back even further to February (and the infancy of Denver Horse Force), the oddsmakers had little faith in Denver’s Super Bowl XLVI chances.
Again, what a difference Tim Tebow makes.
The Broncos’ four-game winning streak and 5-1 record with Tebow at the helm has the oddsmakers taking notice. Denver’s chances of making a run to Indianapolis in February have increased significantly.
Fueled by comeback wins and an ever-improving defense, the Broncos are now 40-1 favorites to win Super Bowl XLVI, according to BetOnline.com. Just weeks ago, the Broncos’ odds were 200-1. For what it’s worth, if the Broncos do advance to Super Bowl XLVI, I’m flying back home to Indianapolis just to partake in Tebow-mania 3-1-7 Style.
The undefeated Packers are favorites at 1.6-1 odds.
