Peyton Manning’s Friday Night Plans: Visiting the Broncos

And it just got interesting.

Interesting…er?

Multiple sources report Peyton Manning is on his way to Denver to meet with the Broncos.

Manning is aboard a Broncos’ private plane with John Elway, John Fox, and Brian Xanders.  The plane is coming in from Stillwater, Okla., where the Broncos trio attended Oklahoma State’s pro day.

Thanks to “flight tracking,” we know that sane plane, which landed in Stillwater Thursday, left Stillwater this morning to pick up Manning in Miami.  Manning owns a condo in the Miami area.  Just over an hour later, the plane returned to Stillwater to meet up with Denver’s pro day team for the trip home.

Manning will also meet with the Cardinals and Dolphins.  Insiders say Manning hopes to make a decision before next week’s start of free agency.

As they say, this is a fluid story and stay tuned for details.

I should probably stay tuned for a post on the topic, but what do you think of the possibility of Mr. Manning in Denver? (I’m horribly jealous that there seems to be no stop in beautiful Philadelphia on the flight plan of his jet…).

    • Personally, and this is the lifelong Colts and longtime Peyton fan in me speaking, the more I think about it, the more I’d love to see him end up here.

I understand the risks, such as the neck, the money, the commitment, and so on…

In the end, I don’t think he ends up here.

Yes, I do plan to write much, much more. That’s what the weekend is for! :)
