Prater Ready to Kick Off 2012 Season - The Broncos rewarded kicker Matt Prater for his record-setting 2011 season with a new four-year contract on Monday. “It feels amazing,” Prater said. “It’s something I’ve worked for since I was a little kid. Throughout the process it was kind of tough especially once practice and everything starts, I wanted to be there. In the end, I knew it was going to get done. Former Bronco Rick Upchurch Battling Cancer - Former Denver Bronco Rick Upchurch was the best punt returner in the NFL at one time. During his NFL career, he led the league in punt return average three times and in punt return touchdowns three times. During his stint with the Broncos (1975-1983), he made it to the Pro Bowl four times.
