Broncos’ Elvis Dumervil focusing on football upon return to Denver - Elvis Dumervil isn’t hiding in the wake of his recent arrest in Miami, but he isn’t speaking much about it either.  Since Dumervil returned to Denver, he joined other teammates in visiting victims of the Aurora movie theater shootings, and on Wednesday, he was the first player to speak to reporters as players reported to training camp.  Read more the Denver Post >>>>

Broncos coach Fox says team has responsibility to help Aurora shooting victims - Broncos defensive end Ben Garland has been to plenty of movies at the Century 16 Aurora theater, and he nearly went to a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” early Friday morning.  The only thing that kept Garland from going was Broncos training camp. Great Expectations - Cornerback Tracy Porter is one of several former Super Bowl champions on the Denver Broncos roster.  Entering training camp, he compared the feeling within the organization to that of the year he earned his ring with the Saints.  “It’s very similar to the Super Bowl year we had in New Orleans,” Porter said. “We have extremely high expectations on this team, starting with (quarterback) Peyton (Manning) all the way down to the last guy on the roster. Biggest Weaknesses on Denver Broncos’ Defense - The strength of the Broncos defense is up front. Von Miller, the 2011 defensive rookie of the year, is healthy and ready to wreak havoc at strong-side linebacker. In his first season in the NFL, Miller recorded 64 tackles, 50 of them solo, along with 11.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.  On the right side, Elvis Dumervil’s recent off-field issue is indeed a concern. Peyton Manning’s arrival in the Mile High City — and comeback from a career-threatening neck injury that sidelined the future Hall of Fame quarterback for the entire 2011 season — will be one of the most followed and discussed storylines of this preseason, and how the reigning AFC West champions handle the additional media scrutiny could have a big say in their chances for a repeat. Brawley native Mike Mohamed ready for second season in the NFL with the Denver Broncos – When the Denver Broncos open training camp Thursday here, Imperial Valley native Mike Mohamed will be looking to become a force on special teams.  Mohamed, 24, was drafted by the Broncos in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft after being a standout linebacker at California after three years as a starter on the Brawley Union High offense and defense.  Mohamed enters his second training camp knowing that both excitement and expectations, with the addition of quarterback Peyton Manning, are high.  Read more from ivpressonline.com >>>>
