Summer Scrimmage Prepares Broncos - Saturday’s scrimmage at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium served as more than just a well-attended first chance to go full speed. It also got the players ready for the Broncos’ trip to Chicago to take on the Bears on Thursday. Certain aspects of the game simply can’t be replicated at the team’s practice facility at Dove Valley. “It gave us an ‘ante up’ for next week,” safety Rahim Moore said. “We were getting used to the fan base, having coaches on the sideline, getting the calls in early and late. It was a good simulation for next week’s game.” Linebacker Von Miller said that between now and Thursday evening’s date with the Bears, the players will have just the right amount of time to recover from Saturday’s live scrimmage, and more importantly, be ready for Chicago. Why Eric Decker Will Be a Top 10 Wide Receiver for the Broncos - Eric Decker is the prototypical wide receiver for a Peyton Manning led offensive scheme, as most will find out firsthand this coming NFL season with the Denver Broncos.
