Yes, the Duke football season came to an end on Thursday night. However there are still some happenings going on with the team and former players.
Well…Lewis impressed both his coaches and his teammates. He was 22-of-32 for 204 yards. He had both a touchdown and an interception in the Browns’ 24-10 loss.
Lewis started all four years at Duke (2006-2009) and is one of just two players in the ACC’s history to pass for over 10,000 yards. He was also an All-ACC performer twice.
Did you notice Duke quarterback Sean Renfree get blasted late in the Belk Bowl? The one where he was blind-sided and threw an interception? Well, he underwent surgery on Friday to repair a torn right pectoral muscle. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Next up for Renfree is the NFL combines. He has already graduated from Duke with a degree in public policy (2011) and has earned the requirements for a graduate degree in humanities.
