Duke Men’s Soccer Loses to Rival in ACC Tournament

The Duke men’s soccer team lost to rival, and third ranked, North Carolina, 1-0, in Tuesday’s ACC Quarterfinal match. The Blue Devils shutout streak came to an end at 421:40.

UNC’s Danny Garcia scored a goal in the 22nd minute and that proved to be enough for the Tarheels.

Duke goalie James Belshaw recorded three saves in the loss. The Blue Devils out-shot the Tarheels, 9-8.

They now have to wait to see if their season will continue. The NCAA Tournament Selection Show will be held on November 12th at 5:30pmET on NCAA.com.
