Cubs sign Jonathan Sanchez, Julie takes the day off

Another minor deal by the Cubs:

The Cubs signed free agent left-hander Jonathan Sanchez to a minor league deal, according to a source.

The deal is said to include incentives if he makes the major league roster.

Sanchez, 31, threw a no-hitter in 2009 and won 13 games for the Giants in 2010 but has been hampered by control problems. Sanchez has pitched for the Rockies, Royals and Pirates.

Those of you who don’t follow me on Twitter probably don’t know this, but I was up half the night arguing constitutional law and bible passages with Duck Dynasty fans. I’m taking the day off.

Boy arguing with Christians is a great way to spend the night, Julie….LOL….I don’t waste my time on them because you can never change the minds of True Believers…..

I wasn’t really arguing Christianity as trying to teach Civics 101.

          Pretty much the case.

I started to respond to a number of my conservative friends on facebook on this issue…then thought better about it and left it alone. I’m not going to be able to change their opinion on the situation and to a lesser extent, I’m not going to make them more enlightened either.

            Great post on Facebook:
I don’t mind God, it is his fan club that is the problem.

ESPN Chicago is reporting that Starlin Castro had $3.5 million seized due to a contract his father signed with a Dominican Republic coach. Castro was 15 at the time, shouldn’t the contract be nulll and void?
