-The Rays won 10-1 over the Orioles last night. Nice change of pace, huh? Ryan Roberts, new to Tampa Bay’s lineup, got his first homer as a Rays player and Jose Lobaton picked up the first home run of his career.

-Due to the addition of Roberts, Hideki Matsui has been designated for assignment.

-Evan Longoria is starting his rehab assignment today! He told his teammates, “See you soon.” Hooray!

-If you missed out on getting a Zim Bear earlier this season, the Rays will be giving them out to the first 10,000 fans at their September 3 game against the Yankees.

I got my hands on one after the first giveaway so if I manage to snag another, I’ll offer it up to my Twitter followers.

I don’t think my sister wants another one of those creepy things in our apartment…

-The Rays close out their three-game series at Camden Yards with a 12:35pm game tomorrow. Tampa Bay’s James Shields will face off against Baltimore’s Chris Tillman.
