Can we just forget that these last three days of Rays baseball happened?

When I was at the Trop on Wednesday night, the loudest cheer from Tampa Bay fans came when the Rays pitching staff picked up their 10th strikeout, meaning fans could pick up their voucher from Kane’s for a free Papa John’s pizza.

This afternoon, those Rays fans in attendance couldn’t even take solace in earning a free meal following the loss. Oh, and Jeremy Hellickson gave up 8 earned runs to the Mets. David Price gave up 7 earned runs on Wednesday. Not that we want the teammates competing for the top number in that category…
