Well, this is going swimmingly so far. The Rays are up 5-0 over the O’s heading into the bottom half of the second inning at the Trop. Hideki Matsui went yard in the first, getting his second homer in as many starts. Tampa Bay also scored on a Luke Scott single and a Sean Rodriguez sacrifice fly.
While at work today, my floor had hot dogs for lunch. For me, hot dogs and baseball just go together and I couldn’t help but think of the Rays’ upcoming series as I looked out at the Trop from one of our eighth floor windows.
The 2012 MLB First-Year Player Draft will take place from June 4 through June 6. As we get closer to it, I’ll give you some sites that will have serious draft analysis.
