Some girls like chocolate. Some girls like flowers. Some girls like baseball. Some girls, like me, like all three.

The Rays and Joe Maddon came together today to give a little gift to Rays fans this Valentine’s Day. It was news we expected to hear, but that doesn’t diminish the happiness I’m feeling following the announcement that Maddon has reached a 3-year contract extension with the Rays.

An announcement is expected on Wednesday.
