Two, two and two.
Two runs crossed the plate in each of the first three innings for the Red Sox, and that was all it took to sink the Orioles tonight…because they scored no runs at all.
That was basically it. Sometimes, there are games where very few things happen that are actually of consequence. The Red Sox put across an extra run in the eighth, but it’s not like it mattered or anything because the Orioles really couldn’t hit their way out of a paper bag today. To be fair, they did hit the ball four times, but it didn’t exactly get them out of the bag, so. Yeah.
Morris Marina time. Yep.
That’s basically how this one went.
Tomorrow we go home and the Phillies come in. Let’s see what happens – we might actually have a shot at this…
