It’s that time of year again – the time of the year when I break down Baseball America’s prospect rankings for the Orioles, with one prospect for every day of March!
This first entry’s coming awfully late at night, and I apologize for that. Besides having a ton of work to do today, I also realized that there’s really nothing new I can say about Dylan Bundy. He’s Dylan Bundy, and everyone – even extremely casual Orioles fans – knows why he’s an incredible pitcher. This year, Baseball America praised him by saying that he “should be the Orioles’ best homegrown pitcher since Mike Mussina,” high praise indeed.
So let’s just sit back and watch the boy pitch, yes?
And maybe watch him talk, too.
And how about a little more pitching, this time from back in Frederick?
Really, there’s nothing more to add to this except that Dylan should be allowed to use his cutter because it’s damn good and I’m still cross with Dan Duquette over that whole issue.
Dylan Bundy is an amazing pitcher. The end.
