Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey’s foot along with his four field goals Sunday were just too much for the Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys defeated the Panthers 19-14.
Cam Newton just wasn’t able to do much … as seems to be the case during most of this sophomore season for the star quarterback. It’s sad. Really sad. He was 21 of 37 passing Sunday for 233 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Newton’s touchdown pass was thrown to Brandon LaFell. He had four receptions for 53 yards.
Mike Tolbert ran four yards for the Panthers second score. Tolbert had three rushes for nine yards.
During a post game press conference, Newton discussed a desire to have a change. He said that he didn’t know what was going on but that a change was needed and soon. I couldn’t agree more Cam. It’s rough seeing you lose!
The Panthers are now 1-5. They have a tough road test as they take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field next Sunday.
