The Reds Didn’t Even Want To Be On Sunday Night Baseball, Anyway. So There.

I don’t know what you’re talking about, these grapes are not sour. (Photo by Chris Campbell/Flickr)

ESPN has announced it’s Sunday Night Baseball schedule for the first half of the 2013 season, and the Reds did not get invited.

Whatever, I don’t care.

I didn’t even want to go, cuz  pool parties are for babies I mean, Sunday Night Baseball is for big jerky losers like the Yankees. Pfffff. Everyone knows it’s just a popularity contest. It’s not like popularity has any meaning in sports, like being correlated to team revenue or anything.

And Sunday night baseball is so passe. All the cool kids are into Saturday Night Baseball. You know, where you stay at home and watch baseball on Saturday night, instead of going out and having fun with other people.

Plus, ESPN has always been super mean to us. Whenever the Reds are on ESPN, it’s all like “we’re going to talk about the other team half the time” and “we’re not automatically going to make it so the Reds win.” We don’t need that stuff, right? We need to focus on keeping positive influences in our life, and ESPN is just bringing us down all the time.

Anyway, us and the Nationals and the Athletics are going to have an awesome sleepover where we talk about how pretty and smart, and 2012 division winning we are, and how ESPN and Sunday Night Baseball stink.
