Sorry for the horrible headline but at least you know what I’ll be discussing today. Since all teams are officially on Christmas break, there really is no news. So instead, we have a couple of tweets from the boys.

First we have Mike Rupp who decided since he wanted a White Christmas to drive home to Western Pennsylvania with the family. One problem…the car didn’t make it:

That does not sound like fun. Especially since one of those kids is only a couple months old. That said, they did make it and have the pics to prove it:

Beautiful! I love the way new snow looks on the ground. Unfortunately in New York it doesn’t stay white very long.

Next we have Henrik Lundqvist who asked everyone what was on their Christmas wishlist. Not surprisingly, most said NHL hockey to which The King agreed but then made another request:

Really Henrik? Pretty sure toasters aren’t that expensive. Just go buy one!

Finally we have Carl Hagelin, who appears to be spending the holidays in New York. And from his tweet, we know Ryan McDonagh is here too:

Great picture Carl! Glad to know the boys are in New York. Just wish they were heading to MSG not Central Park. And on a side note, McDonagh is still listed on the Barys Astana roster. Not sure why unless he’s waiting to make sure the season isn’t cancelled before saying he won’t be going back.

And yes I know you come here for news. Unfortunately we just don’t have any at the moment. Hey Gary, Bill, Don and Steve…I know it’s Christmas but would talking to each other really hurt anyone? Didn’t think so.
