Know how I’ve mentioned Rangers players are doing everything they can to help victims from Hurricane Sandy? Add a clinic in Staten Island this Friday led by eight current players to the list.

Those fellow players joining Brad Richards? Marian Gaborik, Ryan Callahan, Dan Girardi, Marc Staal, Carl Hagelin, Brian Boyle and Steve Eminger.

They don’t have to do this but they want to. And I will proudly be supporting them for it. I’ll be there Friday and will let everyone know any news about how are boys are doing. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again – I was fortunate not to be effected by Hurricane Sandy. But I am so proud to see these boys come together and help their adopted city even when they have no reason to be here.
