Throughout the lockout, many blogs are doing fake recaps of the games that should’ve been taking place. I’ve decided to go another route by doing real recaps…of the games that happened on that date one year ago.

When checking the schedule from last year for this recap, I saw the Rangers played the Dallas Stars on December 13th, 2011. My first reaction was to try and remember what happened during that game before I looked it up. Then I thought “wasn’t that the game that had to win for the most boring game of the season?” I was right. The game was beyond horrible…and not because the Rangers lost.
