I’m going to be honest – the longer the lockout went on, the longer I expected these posts to be. It’s been a week since we’ve done an update on our guys overseas and not much has happened. But that could be because no one is playing…and it’s not because there is another break in the schedule.

First a local update as we have some good news to report regarding Chris Kreider. Turns out, his injury was only a “neck strain” and isn’t expected to be serious. He’s listed as day-to-day. And we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Honestly, this lockout needs to end because we aren’t going to continue to get this lucky with injury updates.

Speaking of injury updates, let’s head to Switzerland where we have a bunch to talk about.
