For anyone who reads this blog regularly or has ever attended a baseball game (or any other sporting event for that matter), you know that I despise the wave.
Like if given enough beer…errr courage, I may yell at small children trying to start it. Yeah, I don’t like it.
So it shouldn’t come as an surprise how excited I was the day I saw this on the jumbotron at RBiA.
Seems the Rangers don’t like the wave either. I knew I loved this team. This “warning” even prompted ESPN’s attention.
I also know I’m not the only Rangers fan with this same disdain for the wave. My friend Greg Holland has devoted a website, www.stopthewave.net, to the movement.
That wasn’t the only instance of wave opposition at RBiA. We also got this fun graphic on Sept. 15.
I can’t say if the tactics have been successful or not. Probably not. I’m sure when I sit down in my seats on Opening Day and the game gets slow, some person who doesn’t appreciate the fact they are watching a baseball game will try to start one. It’s a losing battle, I know. But I won’t give up. And hopefully neither will the Rangers.

So I’m a few days late, but these are signs are hilarious!
