Three Is Not a Magic Number: Raptors 90, Knicks 85

This stat sums up tonight’s loss to the Raptors: The Knicks attempted 35 three pointers and made only ten of them.

What in the name of John Starks were they thinking? At one point poor Josh Harrelson hit a shot off the side of the backboard.

Ugh

Awful. And to lose to the Raptors at home? Come on now.

Carmelo Anthony had 35 points and Toney Douglas added 22. The Knicks shot 36 percent overall for the game and dropped to 2-3 on the season.

They played without Amar’e Stoudemire for the second straight game. He watched the game from the newly renovated locker room in Madison Square Garden.

Next up, the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night at the Garden.
