THE KNICKS ARE BACK … ON TV!
Hooray! I can finally watch the Knicks on Time Warner again! Richard Sandomir of the New York Times first broke the news earlier this afternoon.
Yes, I did this exact dance when I found out about the deal.

It’s a Christmas Day rematch tonight in Boston at the TD Garden as the 8-14 Knicks take on the 11-10 Celtics on ESPN.
Yikes, another National game on a Friday night?
Maybe the Knicks will fare better than they did last week when they lost to Miami by 10 points.
I shouldn’t be too hard on the boys, they played quite a game last night against the Chicago Bulls and only lost by three. This is bad, right? I’m rationalizing a loss.
But it’s true. There were a lot of good things in last night’s game. They hung tough with a good Bulls team until the end and another big thing being that the Knicks proved that they could really only be a good point guard away from climbing the hump from mediocrity to a contender.
Tonight Boston could have Rajon Rondo back which won’t be great for the Knicks. He scored 31 points and had 13 assists in their first meeting – a Knicks 106-104 victory – on Christmas Day. He’s been day to day but was listed as a game time decision for tonight’s contest.
As for the Knicks, they will be without Baron Davis, yet again. I’m starting to think that Davis will never play again. Hopefully I’m wrong. They’re saying the best case scenario for his debut is next week. Yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it.
Some notes:
The next time these teams will meet will be in a month, again in Boston on March 4. I really hope the Knicks are above .500 at that point.
Please? Thanks.

I got chills and they’re multiplyin’
Hell yes!
Nice job by the MSG promo guys. Especially for the meshing of the vocals from “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye and the beat of “We Will Rock You” by Queen in the first video. That video gets me pumped every time I see it.
Fantastic.
