Aerys Huddle: Part 2

Welcome to part two of the Huddle …

Question 6: How is the “Suck for Luck” campaign affecting – or will affect – teams later this season?  Is it fair for fans to want their respective teams to play poorly for the chance at Andrew Luck?  Click here to read our responses.

Question 8: The Bengals front office was adamant that Carson Palmer would not be traded, but that all changed when he was shipped to Oakland.  Were the Bengals smart to finally give in?  Did the Raiders give too much in exchange? Click here to read our responses.

Ochocinco Challenges Suh To A Futbol Face Off

Bahahahaha!

Football — or should I say — futbol anyone? I guess I’m not the only one bored of the NFL lockout. It seems Chad Ochocinco and Ndamukong Suh have also grown tired at the possibility of not playing football next season. So tired, in fact, that they decided to pose a head-to-head match-up — on the soccer field.

It started with Ochocino picking a Twitter fight with Suh late Friday. Probably not the smartest thing he’s ever done. Maybe Ochocinco has never actually seen Suh in person. Or maybe the Bengals WR is just doing what he does best — drawing hoards of needless attention in whatever direction he’s facing. Yeah, that’s probably it.

Here’s the Twitter conversation:

Ochocinco: @ndamukong_suh If we got into a fight at what point would you beg for mercy before i whooped your ass?

Suh: HAHA NEVER, you don’t want those problems!!!! RT @ochocinco If we got into a fight what point would you beg for mercy before i whooped ur..

Ochcocinco: @ndamukong_suh well we can get a hand held camera, fight, then put it on youtube of me beating you to a pulp

Suh: HA @ochocinco you couldn’t beat me in soccer, let alone a fight.

Ochocinco: @ndamukong_suh Me and you on any ice rink and go at it Hockey fight style, everything goes until somebody hits the ground

Suh: @ochocinco bro I saw ur weak attempt at soccer..how bout we settle this w/ a shootout on the soccer field in #NYC @ #NFLDraft?#dontbescared

Ochocinco: @ndamukong_suh my attempt at soccer was awesome, we can have a shootout whenever you are ready, i will be the goalie also

Suh: That’s a bet and I’ll play goalie too!!! RT @ochocinco my attempt at soccer was awesome, we can have a shootout whenever you are ready…

Suh: @ochocinco follow me back and we’ll get this figured out..

Someone please tell me this is actually going to happen. Please? Honeslty, I think this match-up could probably be a hell of lot more enjoyable than most would think.

Afterall, Ochocinco had a Major League Soccer tryout this spring with Sporting Kansas City and Suh was the Lions emergency kicker last season. Suh is also known for his family’s soccer backgroud. His father played semi-pro soccer in Germany and his older sister played collegiate soccer and is currently a member of the Cameroon’s women’s national football team.

And, let’s be honest, if there’s a possibility we might not get to watch American football next season, at least let us watch futbol. Only seems fair.
