Katie Strang tweeted earlier this evening that the Isles’ Andrew MacDonald will be playing hockey in the Czech Republic.

The puck-moving defenseman will be playing for the Czech Extraliga’s  HC Energie Karlovy Vary, currently 3-7 and ranked 10th in their respective league. Their top scorers, Peter Kumstat and Lukas Pech, each have 10 points in 10 games. I’m assuming A-Mac will be in the lineup for their next match on Friday against Liberec.
