AP Poll sees lots of changes after Saturday’s big upsets

After weeks and weeks of the AP Top 25 looking remarkably similar, there were finally some shifts this week after a few big upsets on Saturday. Missouri had the biggest rise of the week, moving up 11 spots from No. 25 to No. 14 after beating Georgia, who had been No. 7  and fell to No. 15. They’re tied with Stanford, who went from No. 5 to No. 13 after losing to Utah, for the biggest drop of the week. Oklahoma fell six places, from No. 12 to No. 18, after losing to Texas  in another of Saturday’s surprising upsets. Michigan and Northwestern, who had been No. 18 and No. 19, respectively, dropped out of the rankings this week and Auburn and Wisconsin entered at No. 24 and No. 25, respectively. The SEC also now has eight teams in the Top 25, which is a record.
