Did you think that memes couldn’t get any better than Tebowing in 2011?

Unlikely. But if you did, you were wrong.

Because 2012 was MEME-TASTIC. Here are my NFL quarterback favorites.

It all started in Week 1 with RG3′s very first NFL touchdown pass. Griffining swept the nation.

Then, I’ll be honest here (and it’s not just because I’m a Chiefs fan), but the internet got kind of boring for three months. Memes attempted and failed (now I’m just spit-balling here, but they probably failed because they deal with…failure):

But then it was December, and the QB memes got good again.

Flaccoing: it’s a pretty big [sad] deal. Proving that even failure can be fun (when it’s the end of the season and you’re screwed anyway).

And then our most recent, and possibly the best “new Tebowing,” the great Kaepernicking!

I mean come on, it’s pretty great.

Here’s where you’re allowed to think memes can’t get any better. Because the internet, in the great circle of life, gave us this:
