TO Auditions … For the Cameras?

Terrell Owens wonders where NFL Teams were to watch him Tuesday.

Terrell Owens tried out Tuesday. But no one showed up. Except the cameras.

According to Yahoo! Sports:

The 37-year-old free-agent wide receiver participated in some drills and caught passes Tuesday outside Los Angeles in a showcase televised by ESPN and NFL Network. He tells ESPN “I definitely feel there are some teams out there that are interested.”

Agent Drew Rosenhaus says on Twitter that he will be contacting teams Tuesday to tell them Owens “is immediately available to visit and work out for them. He could play this Sunday!”

Owens has been rehabilitating a left knee injury that required surgery. He played 14 games for Cincinnati last year, making 72 receptions with nine touchdowns.

If there are interested teams, where we they Terrell? If the potential suitors were just supposed to watch him on television, well that’s ridiculous. Don’t they need to talk with you and find out your stability level and look in your eyes to see if you are telling the truth?

In case you want to see some of the workout, TMZ was at the audition. The network has a lovely name for the story. Terrell Owens: Topless NFL Audition in Calabasas. All he is really doing is being topless and running routes.
