The Minnesota Vikings entered day three of the NFL Draft with nine draft picks: three fourth rounders, two fifth rounders, one sixth rounder, and three seventh rounders.  At the end of the day, the Vikings drafted seven players, while trading two of their picks (one fifth and one seventh) for future draft picks.  The Vikings focus included drafting positions of need and/or drafting quality, all-around football players, with an emphasis on good character players.
