Cam Newton

Cam Newton had quite the game for the Carolina Panthers. We’re talking 15 of 24 passing for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran nine times for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Carolina thought they had the win with a minute remaining in the game. But, Cam fumbled the ball while trying to dive for the necessary yardage. The Panthers recovered but ended up punting, downing the ball at the Atlanta one yard line. Matt Ryan immediately got the Falcons out of the hole, throwing a 59-yard pass to Roddy White, giving the Falcons a 30-28 win.

So, despite the loss, you would think Cam would be in a much less…. pouty mood this week? Maybe not!

Cam has some … chilling to do, apparently!

Also, DeAngelo Williams had 11 carries for 49 yards and a touchdown. Greg Olsen had six receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. Kealoha Pilares had one reception for 36 yards and a touchdown.

On defense, Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson had 3.5 sacks and six tackles. Defensive end Frank Alexander had 1.5 sacks and a tackle. Greg Hardy and Ron Hardy each had a sack.

The Panthers play at home next weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully, Cam and Company will have a much better day.
