The Los Angeles Lakers seem to have whittled down their roster to the final players. Typically, GM Mitch Kupchak likes to carry 14 players, rather than the 15 allowed, but it looks like Darius Johnson-Odom will make the final cut.

It was disappointing to see Andrew Goudelock, or the Mini Mamba as Kobe called him, get waived. He really didn’t get much of a chance to prove himself this season and last. Coach Brown always said he needed more experience, but didn’t give him a chance to get it.

Darius Morris was guaranteed money, whereas Goudelock was not, and that may have come into play.

There was talk that Johnson-Odom would be the last to get cut, but from all indications he will be making the team.
