Celtics Continue To Wheel And Deal

Brandon Bass is here to stay, at least for the next few years.

The Celtics agreed to terms with him for a three-year deal, and reports say the exact numbers are still being worked out.

Bass opted out of the final year of his contract to test the free agent waters, but he remained high on Boston’s list of players to sign.

Bass came to Boston during the offseason last year in a sign-and-trade with Orlando, which sent Glen Davis to the Magic.  He averaged 12.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in his first year with the Celtics.

Danny Ainge is wasting no time this offseason, but one of the team’s biggest targets still remains unsigned.  Ray Allen plans to meet with Miami and the Los Angeles Clippers this week, and while reports say he is leaning towards those two teams, the Celtics are reportedly still in the running.
