Just when I thought there wouldn’t be anything to post for today’s headlines, some crazy person from Massachusetts shows up and provides some news. But, I think we’d all rather have Cubs president Theo Epstein concentrating on trades than worrying about a stalker.
The Chicago Tribune reported Kathleen Kearney, 44, was arrested Monday evening near Epstein’s five-bedroom home in the Lakeview neighborhood.
According to the report, Kearney told police she had been watching the home and she was “inviting Mr. Epstein to go to church.”
Poor Theo. I doubt anyone wants to go to church with her. How long has this been going on?
The newspaper also reported that Kearney had previously contacted Epstein when he was general manager of the Boston Red Sox and that Massachusetts authorities were called to investigate stalking concerns, but no charges were filed.
I wonder if she had a church picked out in Chicago or if they were going to have to fly back to Massachusetts.

I actually took a creepy side shot of Theo when I ran into him at O’Hare. He was actually pretty cool he signed my hotel invoice. I was trying not to bring to much attention to him or else I would have asked him for a pic too.
>>”if they were going to have to fly back to Massachusetts.”
Yeah, with Theo’s head in a carry-on bag!! Eeesh!! She’s creeperific.
That looks like my crazy aunt. (No, not really.)
I think that is Jim Hendry in drag.
Iced tea all over my computer.
Oh. Sorry.
If it’s unsweetened ice tea you can use a hair dryer to dry it up
When is Dempster going to be traded?
Digging his proverbial grave already are we??
Oh. Never mind…
bwahaha, well done
Hmm most current rumor has Washington interested. This would work well for me.

I think I’m pretty cool with the idea of getting Bryce Harper for Ryan Dempster.
This is the time of year when you start to hear really stupid shit…
Like the Royals are interested in Matt Garza.

I hear they are also interested in bringing Greinke back. Do they want to fill the void the Cubs have left as a team that is double digit games back in the division but still hell bent on acquiring for the short term?
There has been a lot of talk about Greinke, but from what I’ve heard around here, it really appears like the Brewers intend to keep him.
I believe that. That team is going to be sick in a couple of years if all their draft picks pan out (I realize that is a big “if”)
“Experts” have been saying that for 20 years.
I don’t see the Royals changing from their philosophy of trading away all their talent before they ever have a chance to compete.
It’s what the Bucs had been doing for the past decade or so. Finally they’re starting to get the idea.
They looked pretty good up to this point of the season last year and they eventually ended up where they normally do.
Make that point at the end of the season if they are actually over .500.
