With so much being said about needing to add pitching and keeping a steady wave of pitchers through our organization this is what I did not expect.
While we still see our front office chugging along in the rebuild process we are still seeing the likes of Christ Volstad (0-24) and thunkers like Boo Radley and Justin Germano flowing through our starting lineup.
When they said they wanted to keep a steady wave of pitchers in the organization did they mean that they were going to spoon feed us with a pile of crap every week?
I understand that pitching is most important. But the wave of pitching that we have consists of: Chris Volstad, Boo Radley, Chris Rusin, Travis Wood, Justin German and Spellcheck.
Spellcheck being the only original starter from opening day.
Does this look like a starting 5 that can take us through the home stretch? It looks more to me like a starting staff that can take us through the mud not once, twice but three times.
The little League world Series has an 6’3, 185lb 12 year old on it that could pitch better then Volstad.
With our front office putting so much emphasis on pitching don’t you think it would help if we actually acquired a real pitcher?
Rumor has it that we just acquired a pitcher that won 11 games one year (2005), He didn’t even play major league ball last year.
I’M so happy that we are focused on pitching.
I love this front office but I’m gettin’ pissed.
Put me on the mound, I’ll do just as well.
Anywho…. tonight’s lineup consists of….wait for it….Dun-da-da duhhhh:

Are we in first place yet?
I think we are in “Last of the Mohicans”
Sorry…never read it.
This season feels like Satre’s “Huit Clos” (No Exit.)
Never understood it.
yet it was long and painful, wasn’t it?
Now you see my point.
Ah…I see. Agreed.
I hate the Brewers.
Dammit.
Who’s pitching?
Gerwoodstadly is pitching.
In other news Roger Clemens(50) just signed a deal to play for an independent team in Texas. Independent? does that mean no Republicans or Democrats are allowed to play? YAY!
Somewhere, Rickey Henderson is lacing up his spikes and making a call . . .
And somehow, Jamie Moyer still wants to play in the big leagues.
WOW this book is actually kind of cool.
No.
Agreed (with Julie).
You know that started out as TWILIGHT FAN FICTION, right?
I told them that earlier. The bright spot, if you call it that, is thanhe cubs have gone to the bullpen, a concept foreign to the Angels. I get the Dodger game, but the good news is the Giants have already scored on Mr. Perfect Kershaw…
I’m not sure why people are thumbing that down. It’s the truth.
Just because it makes me happy:

I’m going back to my book.
I even started to read a new book last night, though mine isn’t a chick book.
