If, after the drubbing the Cubs took in DC, you said they’d be one win away from a sweep in the Pittsburgh series, most of us would have laughed. But here the Cubs are going in to Sunday’s game with only Chris Rusin standing between them and a series sweep. Unfortunately for us, Chris Rusin is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA. He’ll be facing Jeff Locke, who is similarly inexperienced with a 0-1 record and a 4.82 ERA.
We won’t get to see Dale Sveum’s wacky “Tony Campana hitting ninth” lineup today as Locke is a lefty, but we do get to see Joe Mather hitting leadoff!

Game time is 12:35 Central and you can watch on WGN should you so choose.

I have to run out,but will try to overcome my mom to watch the game…
Aww, not getting the Bears game here. Guess I’ll flip between cubs and nationals games.
Cutler-Marshall is going to be fun to watch this year
I’m predicting the bears force 600 turnovers this year
Lol, I see my thumbs-down counter troll is lurking today.
I’m back, and happy to see the Cubs are ahead…
So in lieu of rookie dress up, it’s NFL jerseys?
Marmol comes in-there goes the lead….
Can the cubs just leave Marmol in Pittsburgh?
BEARS!!!!!
They looked pretty damn good
yes they did.
It’s the same Colts team who won 2 games last year…
