Completely agree. They took on a quarter of a billion dollars in salary and gave up the farm. Eesh.
I think they think they’re going for it this year, or bust. But yeah . . . horrible deal.
It’s a deal both teams needed to make.
Boston needed to unload those guys. I think most of them just need a change of scenery to get their attitude adjusted.
The new LA owners needed to make a splash after McDork alienated all the fans.
That will be a scary team when all those guys get healthy.

The Dodgers are making me nervous.
I’m not sure why…I think this deal is, long term, a loser for them.
Still, they make me nervous. Throwing around that sort of money just makes me nervous.
The. dodgers had to do something to show the new owners want to win now. They just lost Billingsley, and Loney was not panning out. The Dodgers had all the attention today, and Gonzalez hit a home run his first at-bat. If they can Beckett o pitch well, that will help them out. They figure the offensive adds will help them against SF…
